You read a website called "Obama Crimes?"

I don't want this to sound harsh but...there is a LOT of non-factual information on this site. For example - Obama was not born in Kenya.

These are not partisan issues, they're a matter of public record.

I rejoice in the fact that Americans can disagree on politics and perspective and policies. But I mourn over how divisive we have become, and so much of this seems to stem from so many basing their beliefs and actions on falsehoods that can easily be shown to be such.

I hope that, whomever is elected in 10 days, is elected because Americans choose the candidate that most reflected thier values and policies and what they believe we need at this present moment - not because of the enormous amount of un-truths being spun around the internet.

This makes me especially sad when I see it done in the name of Christ (am not point to you here, just venting now) - Christ has NOT given us the spirit of fear, but of love.

If you have been visiting my blog, you should get the general sense that the more I read about Obama, the more concerned I become. These reports (and others like it) were posted on a couple of very reputable sites (perhaps they were duped as well?) and they are asking questions. It seems that for every claim about the public record, there is a counter-claim, so it's difficult to really know where the truth lies. From my perspective, enough doubts have already been raised in my mind about Obama's integrity, that I can't just say "Gosh. it can't possibly be true."

While I admire your concern over divisiveness, my concern for the safety of the country is very high right now and if raising these questions is seen as divisive, then so be it. I feel that these are the types of questions that need to be raised. The un-truths and spins that the mainstream media has produced on behalf of Obama has been stunning and it's unfortunately left to the blogs and "new media" to talk about these things.
